What disadvantage?

A young women asked me whether or not it was a disadvantage being a woman working in the engineering profession.  I told her that the only disadvantage was what we'd imagined for ourselves.  Don't think of being a woman as a disadvantage.  Instead, think of it as an advantage and a differentiator, and leverage on it.
